Where steel cladding loses
Be honest about steel: in salt air it needs careful edge detailing or a stainless upgrade; at cut edges the coating is the only protection; and it will never give you zinc's living patina. If your site is within reach of sea spray, let us price aluminium or stainless alongside.

Will steel cladding rust?
— Correctly specified and detailed, no: the factory coating protects the panel, and we detail cut edges and fixings to keep it that way. The specification changes near the sea — that is a survey conversation, not a website one.
